Revive Virginia began as a grassroots movement with a simple goal: to strengthen and revitalize our downtown.

Today, we continue that mission by bringing together residents, businesses, organizations, and community partners to create a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving downtown Virginia.
 

Who We Are

Revive Virginia is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Virginia Downtown Business District. Through collaboration, community involvement, and strategic partnerships, we work to enhance the economic vitality, appearance, and overall experience of downtown Virginia.
 

As an independent nonprofit, we operate separately from the City of Virginia. Every tax-deductible donation directly supports downtown beautification, community events, business development, and projects that make our community a better place to live, work, and visit.
 

Building Connections. Creating Momentum.At Revive Virginia, we believe meaningful change happens when people come together. By connecting volunteers, businesses, local leaders, and community resources, we help turn ideas into action and create lasting improvements for our downtown.
 

Our Goals

Our plan to improve the Virginia Downtown Business District includes:

1. Planning and promoting downtown events.

2. Promoting public safety and projecting a healthy community image.

3. Enhancing the presentation and boosting the vitality of the Virginia Downtown Business District.

4. Finding positive ways to address blighted and empty buildings and preventing more empty lots.
